Hartford, Connecticut, USA

Statehood came to Connecticut 230 years ago today, when the legislature ratified the new U.S. Constitution. Ninety years later, the new capitol building was ready for occupancy. In 1971, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks, of which the state now boasts sixty-three. Doesn't it look so lusciously French? [2018]
