The Vitruvian Cow: It was inspired by Leonardo's Vitruvian Man, but its roots are deeper than that. It goes back to Marcus Vetruvius Pallio, b. 80 B.C., author of a book that helped fuel the Renaissance.In fact, according to Walter Isaacson, it was "the only surviving book on architecture from classical antiquity."
