London, England, is on the River Thames. So is New London, Connecticut. But, only the latter has the New London Harbor Light, which is now owned by the New London Maritime Society. If you collect octagons, it's well worth a visit. Yes, it has eight sides. And, yes, the water is really that blue! [2006]
