Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Every temple needs a guardian. In Cambodia, the polycephalic serpent Naga serves that function. Naga is usually a seven-headed deity, but here at the mango temple five heads stand sentry. The Cambodian people trace their origin to Naga. [2016]
