Aleppo, Syria

In 1993, Easter fell on April 11, and the Armenian Protestants of Aleppo gathered to celebrate Christ's resurrection. The only difference between their service and an American service was the language. The bulletin itself (see it?) looks like it rolled off an American press. How have the Armenians fared in Syria? Anyone know? [1993]

  1. Interesting. Haven't many fled from Syria because of the occupation / destruction of their towns by thugs?

  2. How exciting! I have grown up in this church. We still have close ties with the people over there. Thanks for posting this picture. Where did you find it?

  3. All of the pictures on this site, I took myself. Spent some wonderful months in Syria and attended Easter services here one year. Maybe you could bring us up to date on what has happened to the Armenians of Aleppo.
