The My-Way dog is best appreciated when you notice the fence that surrounds it. A lifted leg has the potential to plant an idea in the minds of some passers-by, but the fence keeps them from acting on their My-Way impulses. Without the fence, one inanimate sculpture might be simply a prop for some animated performance art. [2011]
