Whangarei, New Zealand
Though a native of Africa, the calla lily has taken a liking to the wetlands of New Zealand: here along a tributary of the Hatea River. Still, it looks much too refined to be growing in the wild. Too bad most Americans see it only in those uptight Easter arrangements.
