Quite unexpectedly, the Arab Spring became the American Autumn. Quite unexpectedly the Tea Party on the right found Occupy Wall Street on the left. Quite unexpectedly, what started in Tunisia, spread to New York, and then Montreal and the world. Are the Arabs now teaching US lessons in democracy!!? [2011]
History shows that a government that is as dysfunctional as ours has proven to be this week (Nov.21,2011) should collapse. I'm assuming that our 14 trillion dollar economic engine is what is holding the country together. - Althought it may sound like I'm un-American, I'm actually a die hard American that is a believer in the system where people compromise.
