I wonder where she is going. To a birthday party, perhaps? Piñatas represent a fusion of tradition (Indian clay pots enshrouded in feathers) and popular culture (new shapes from the 'funnies'). For kids in the U.S., piñatas often provide a very positive introduction to Mexican culture.
