Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK

The landscape of  Belfast is punctuated by over 300 murals, so many that lassies and lads all over the city confront them daily. Murals are the mechansims by which their parents' memories become theirs. Stories fly at home. Then, on the streets, murals add visuality to family narratives and Northern Ireland's troubled past.
