A picture a day from around the world, all taken by me, D.J.Z.

Tecumseh, Michigan, USA
Short sleeves, long sleeves, jackets and vests.
A dog on the pavement: As a friend, he's the best.
A place they have found to escape from the grind.
On Main Street they gather; they're six of a kind.
[2008]
“Why am I the focal point of this picture? Are you kidding? What a human question!
Of course them six fellows believe they’re being photographed, but who’s looking straight into your objective and your very own eyes? Do you see me slouching? Are you getting it now?
Like every morning, I’ve just led my men to their watering hole; don’t you see how happy they are, all wagging their menus? After they’ll have quenched their thirst, nibbled on a treat, I’ll be walking them for a half hour and then safely back to their homes.
Not much fun? Don’t I know! Lucky still they not be Englishmen! But besides me, who gives a woof? Stuck all day long with their "Honey-do" wives would them poor fellows be without me! I make no bones about it: it’s my daily grind.” Vaison
