Hood ornaments are almost ubiquitous in Havana. This one guards the entrance to Mercado 19 y B, but she is ready to take off as soon as her master emerges with something to cook for the evening meal. Markets in Havana are named after the nearest intersection (19th and B), and there is one in every neighborhood.
