Mastersonville, Pennsylvania, USA

There are various ways of curing tobacco. These leaves are spending a month or two in a tobacco barn being air cured, all under the watchful eye of the farmer. Over the past thirty years, though, conditions have changed so much in the tobacco industry that it would be hard to recapture a scene like this on the American landscape today. [1982]
