Skyscrapers and tall buildings are banned from central Paris and everybody is happy with that.
ReplyDeleteOne exception was made, one horrendous error resulted: the Tour Montparnasse, that black slab looking for all concerned like the "monolith" in "2001 a Space Odyssey" and everybody hates it. May it not last long and vanish quickly!
All high rises were relegated to "La Défense". Do go there if, without having to leave France, you wish to see Yokohama, New York, Tokyo, Gotham City and Metropolis all wrapped up into one huge inhumane sprawling "concrete thing".
